Of Beaufort, SC 84, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at Summit Place of Beaufort. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 6 at Tewksbury Cemetery in Tewksbury, MA. Mr. Crawford was born September 21, 1920 in Boston, MA, son of Florence (McHugh) Crawford and George Francis Crawford. He was a Veteran of The United States Army/Air Force, having served during World War II. Prior to his retirement he was a civil engineer with Salah & Pecci Construction in Canton, MA. He was a member of Benevolent Protective Order of Elks (B.P.O.E.) in Tewsbury and Longmeadow Golf Club in Lowell. Survivors include his wife, Priscilla (Brennan) Crawford of Beaufort, SC; four daughters, Joanne Jordan of Carlsbad, CA, Pamela Wooten and Colleen Baisley, both of Beaufort, SC, Susan Fraser of Pelham, NH; seven grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Disease Foundation, 919 North Michigan Avenue, Suite 1100, Chicago, IL 60611 or Island Hospice, 300 New River Parkway, Hardeeville, SC 29927. Copeland Funeral Home is in charge.
