“MORRIS Albert J. Morris - died on December 8, 2006 after a brief illness. Albert was born on November 2, 1920 in Arlington, Virginia. He served in the United States Army in World War II, receiving a battlefield commission to the rank of Lieutenant. Following the war, he and wife, Sue, relocated to Cincinnati, where he worked for three decades with General Electric Corporation. During this time, Al and Sue were members of St. Gertrude's Church in Madeira, OH. In 1982, Al and Sue retired to Lillian, Alabama, serving as active volunteers at St. Benedict's Catholic School. Al was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue Brown Morris and he is survived by daughter Marian E. (Dennis) Furey of Villanova, Pennsylvania; his son, Albert H. (JoAnna) Morris of Fairfield, Connecticut; and five grandchildren, Tara C. Furey, Andrew M. Furey, Anne N. Furey, Erica J. Morris and Drew E. Morris.
