Notes for Consiglia / Celia Cataldo
Consiglia Cataldo on marriage record.

April 1910 Census shows them living in Medford. Not having had any children. He is a butcher. His mother is living with them at age 62 (mother had 7 children, 4 of whom were living).

John’s September 1918 draft registration card shows them living at 9 Sanger St., Medford, MA, working at Uphams Corner Market at 786 Dudley Street, Boston

1920 Census shows them still in Medford, ages, 40 and 35, are correct, but incorrectly lists John as Joseph, wife Cilia, and has three children Patrick age 12, Joseph age 10 and Antonio age 8, at least one of whom should have appeared in the 1910 census. News reports on his will say they had no children. Who would the children be?

1930 Census has John and Celia “Cifrono” living at 16 Lingard Street, Dorchester with one servant. Same situation in 1940.
1930, 1932 and 1934 directories list him as vice-president of United Markets Inc. at 600 Columbia Road.

1935 directory shows him as president of Supreme Market Inc. at 530 Gallivan Boulevard in Dorchester.

He is not listed in the 1942 Boston directory. His nephew John, oldest son of his brother Paul, is shown as president of Supreme Market.
