Grace Rosalie Pontuso, 88, of Winter Haven, died of kidney failure on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004.

She was a native of Dorchester, Mass., who came to the area from Dedham, Mass., in 1986. She was a treasurer for a credit union. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. Though she never had children of her own, she raised her nieces and nephews as her own.

She is survived by a sister, Rosalie Cantelli of Quincy, Mass; three nieces, Carolyn Moscatel of Capitola, Calif., Diane Cantelli of San Diego and Andrea Rugo of Winter Haven; and three nephews, James Pontuso of Charlottesville, Va., Daniel Cantelli of Hull, Mass., and Stephen Cantelli of Quincy.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 9 to 9:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
