“BRAINTREE Marcia A. "Marcy" Varnerin-Luongo, 63, of Braintree, formerly of Medford, died April 22, 2009 after a brief illness. Born on August 13, 1945, loving daughter of the late William and Marion (Hartford) Varnerin. She left plenty of fond memories with her children Michael and his wife Joanne, Lorraine and her husband Rick Grimes all of Weymouth, Tim and his wife Kathy of Wakefield an Paul of Bangkok. Fun grandmother of Michelle, Christopher, Elyssa, Jessi, Kevin, Ericka, Samantha, Sarah and Nicole. She is also survived by many loving cousins and devoted friends, as well as her feline companions. Marcy was an active member of Zonta International of Medford with whom she traveled the world. She was a faithful member of the choir of St. Clare's in Braintree. Marcy was a founder and past president of the Medford Arts Council, member of Chevalier Auditorium Commission, past member of Civil Air Patrol, graduate of Arch Bishop Williams and Boston University. Funeral from the McMaster Funeral Homes, 86 Franklin St. (Rt. 37) Braintree, Monday, April 27 at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Clare, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree Highlands at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the Funeral Home Sunday 4 - 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Attn.
