Giacomo Muin, age 27, and wife Luigia Vallar, age 21, arrived at Ellis Island on 13 May 1906 on the Saint Paul, sailing from Southampton. They were joining an uncle, Pietro Vallar at what looks like Silverton Place, Richmond, Missouri. 1900 Census of St. Louis, Missouri shows Pietro Vallar, a stone mason, born in May 1868 in Italy, and wife Clara, born in June 1877 in Germany, married about 1886. He came to the US in 1890, she in 1880. They have a son Albert, born in Missouri in April 1898. In the 1910 census Clara is missing, although it says he is married, and there are three additional children, George 8, Martha 5 and Irene 3. There is also Bertha Glessling age 39, a widow, born in Missouri of German parents, no relationship indicated. In 1920 all of the children are living with their mother, now Clara Scherzinger, and step father in St. Louis.
