Sante and Angelo Varnerin are boarders in an apartment at 320 Norfolk Avenue in the April 1910 cenus. Both unmarried. Ages look like 23 and 20, which would be about right. Riccardo Martini is also a boarder there.
1918 - World War I draft registration has him living at 327 Norfolk Avene, Dorchester. Wife’s name looks like Helen, presumably Elenore. He is a bricklayer for a contractor in Brookline.
14 January 1920 Census has them renting an apartment at 327 Norfolk Avenue. He is age 33, she is 29. Children are Ida, age 5, and Angelo, age 4, both born in Massachusetts.
1926 - Listed as the owner of 9 Fernald Terrace on a building permit for the construction of a garage at that location. The contractor is identified as John Rugo of 149 Pleasant Street, Dorchester and the “authorized agent” who signed the application was Joseph Rugo of 80 Boylston Street.
1930 directory shows him at 9 Fernald Terrace, a superintendent.
1942 - World War II draft registration has his place of birth as Venice. He is living at 9 Fernald Terrace, Dorchester with his wife Santa Elenore and working for Rugo Construction Corp. at 80 “Boston” (probably Boylston) Street, Boston.
February 1966 - Sante Varnerin took out a building permit to apply aluminum siding to his house at 10 Fernald Terrace.
