“LOUDON (New Hampshire) - Mrs. Jane A. (Fanny) Merrow, 47, of Loudon Ridge Road, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, after a battle with leukemia.
Born May 9, 1963, in Concord, Jane was the daughter of the late Richard Fanny and Priscilla (Gelinas) Fanny of Loudon.
Jane graduated from Concord High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She earned her bachelor's degree from Keene State College and her master's degree in education from the University of New Hampshire. For 24 years, Jane was employed by the Concord Union School District and taught at Rundlett Middle School. She was a member of both the National Education Association and the Concord Education Association.
A lover of horses, Jane was active with the Mount Kearsarge Pony Club, the Easy Riders 4-H Club, New Hampshire Horse and Trail, New Hampshire Arabian Horse Association and the Merrimack Trail Riders.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 24 years, Lyford Merrow III of Loudon; two sons, Lyford Merrow IV and Nathan Merrow, both of Loudon; a brother, William Fanny of Concord; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.”
