Arrived at Ellis Island 7 June 1913 at age 22, married, leaving wife Luigia in Tramonti di Sopra, going to Montpelier, Vermont. He was joining his brother-in-law Antonio Fracassi. Said he had been in the US from 1907 to 1912. There is an Ellis Island arrival on 30 March 1907 for a Sante age 16 from Udine, going to join his cousin Leonardo in Northfield (Vermont). Leonardo had come to the US in April 1898 at age 19 going to Concord, New Hampshire and was living in Montpelier in 1900 at age 21, unmarried, a stonecutter who had arrived in the US in 1898. Leonardo was probably born in 1878 to Giovanni Battista and Biagia Quas. In 1902 he married in Montpelier, Angelina Fracassi, daughter of Antonio and Anna.

In August 1933 at age 33 he arrived at Ellis Island on a US passport issued in 1919 in Montpelier, Vermont. His residence was 28 Sibley Avenue in Montpelier.
