“Rudolf Matthew Glach, 87, departed this life on March 12, 2003. Born Feb. 12, 1916, in Pueblo, Colo. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Santa, on Oct. 2, 1993; brothers, Joseph and John; and sister, Mary Edwards. He is survived by his children, Edward (Mary Ann) Glach, Carol (Lee) Cornetta, Eileen (Rudy) Gallegos, all of Pueblo; grandchildren, Brian Glach, Jennifer (Joe) De Heart, Stephen Cornetta, and Anne Marie Cornetta; and great-grandson, Sean De Heart. Also survived by two sisters, Sr. M. Carolyn O.S.B., and Helen (Bill) Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rudolf was a sergeant in the U.S. Army in WWII and retired in 1981 from Gornick Furniture after 48 years in sales and delivery. He was a member of St. Joseph Lodge KSKJ No. 7, charter member of WWII Memorial, life member of VFW Post 3641, and Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 145. Rudolf was an avid reader and music/video buff who immensely enjoyed watching his large video collection. Viewing, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, rosary, 7 p.m. Friday, Imperial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, 217 E. Mesa. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens with military honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. In lieu of food or flowers, donations may be made to Benedictine Sisters of Chicago, Sangre de Cristo Hospice, or the charity of choice through the funeral home office in his memory. “
