Frank Cifrino, age 24, a storekeeper, married Isabella Crosby, age 23, on 2 Jan 1907. It appears that by 1910 Frank is not married and Isabella Cifrino had married George F. Blackman in December 1909 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
1910 Census shows a Frank Cifrino, unmarried, age 28, came to the US in 1895, living in Lunenburg, MA
His 1911 naturalization certificate says that he is divorced from Isabel Crosby.
September 1918 World War I draft registration lists him as a liquor dealer living on Columbus Avenue, Roxbury; lists John Cifrino as contact person rather than a spouse.
1920 census has Frank Cifrino born ca. 1882 in Boston with wife “Lira” born in Massachusetts ca 1876. At the time of the 1920 census Emilia Cataldo, born in 1892, is shown as unmarried and living with her parents in Medford.
1930 census shows him in Boston, the owner of 40 Virginia Street, born ca 1883, immigrated in 1897, married for 10 years to wife Emily, age 37, born in Massachusetts ca 1893, with children Alphonse age 8 and Frances C. age 7. He is a restaurant proprietor.
1930 directory shows his businesses as City Hall Lunch at 15 Province Street and the Uphams Corner Garage at 568 Columbia Road.
1932 directory shows his businesses as Piave Sea Grill at 20 Marshall Street and the City Hall Lunch.
1933 directory no longer shows the City Hall Lunch.
1934 directory shows City Hall Cafe and Sea Grill at 15 Province Street.
1935 directory adds a tavern at 11 Union Street.
1937 directory shows only the tavern at 11 Union Street.
1942 directory shows Faneuil Hall Lobster House, Inc.
1948 directory shows him as treasurer, and Emily as corporate clerk, of Cifrino Inc., at 566B Columbia Road. Their son is president.
July 1934 The family sailed from Genoa to New York, home address 40 Virginia Street. Frank’s naturalization date given as 17 April 1911 in Boston.
World War II draft registration says he is self-employed at a restaurant at 11-13 Union Street in Boston.
His nephew Paul Cifrino, July 2006:
Frank married Emilia Cataldo around 1920.
We saw both of them often when I was growing up.
Your report has him married to Isabella Crosby in 1907 at the age of 24. This could have happened but I never heard of it until just now.
Frank was born in 1883 and died in 1966

In May 1937 he sailed from Genoa to New York with his brother John and both listed 16 Lingard Street, Dorchester, Massachusetts as their residence. Said he was naturalized in Boston in 1909.
Neighbors on Virginia Street in 1937 included Max Cataldo at #17, John Mazzuchelli at #20 and John Piotti at #36.
Obituary says his home was 40 Virginia Street, Dorchester.
