“MARSHFIELD - Alphonse F. Cifrino, 83, of Marshfield, former owner of AA Sports Co. in Weymouth, died Thursday at Milton Hospital.
He also owned Cifrino's Liquor Store in Dorchester.
Born in Boston, he lived in Milton and Boston before moving to in Marshfield 10 years ago. He graduated from Roxbury Latin High School and Norwich University.
A World War II Army veteran, he received the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, the American Service Medal and the Victory Medal.
He was a member of the Marshfield Council on Aging.”
