We know little about him, he married and left the family, went on to San Diego, and died in California, my dad never met him. he has a nick name Il Flor "the flower", and he had a house in Meduno, which once they built the dam, was lost to the new lake, in the summer when it is dry you can still see the old foundations.” Brett Rugo

3 June 1899 arrival at Ellis Island of Guiseppe Rugo, age 29, married, who had been in US for 3 years before, traveling to Concord, NH to join his parents. Traveling with Magdalena Rugo, age 22, going to New York to join her uncle.

Giuseppe Rugo, married for 2 years (wife not shown in census - he is living with a brother-in-law who looks like “Tanny” but is presumably Frank Fanny (Varnerin))
Born May 1870 in Italy. Came to US in 1893.
1920 Census of Ishpeming, Marquette County, Michigan has him working at a mine as a drayman and his son Steven working as a miner. Daughter Mabel’s marriage record in 1919 also shows him in Michigan.
In 1921 his daughter Angela’s marriage record says he is in Wyoming.
