“4 Children Died In Infancy.”

Regina’s cousin, Pasquale Cozzi, was the Mayor of Tramonti and also lived in Ombrena.

Her five sons and two daughters went to the US between 1892 and 1903. One daughter remained in Ombrena.

Regina joined her sons in the US in 1903, traveling with Amabile and Pasquale, her daughter-in-law Lucia Italia and Lucia’s daughter Amabile. Landed in New York and took the Fall River Line to Boston and then another train to Concord, New Hampshire. (Ellis Island 10 May 1903, going to 117? Rumford Street - also with them was Luigi Furlan who was traveling to New York, but later was in Boston. Luigi’s brother Camillo married the niece of Regina’s husband in Boston in 1904.)

After a few years, four of her sons started Miniutti Brothers & Co. a granite cutting shed in Concord, New Hampshire. Luigi continued to work for others and eventually had his own quarry.All five sons worked on the granite monument for the family plot in Calvary Cemetery, with Pasquale the carver.

She served as midwife to the Furlan community in Concord, New Hampshire from 1903 - 1916..
