MINIUTTI LUIGI
Nato nel 1865 a TRAMONTI DI SOTTO da PASQUALE e GOZZI REGINA

Worked for a Cozzi relative as a coppersmith.

Was the first in his family to go to the USA. He travelled with a Moruzzi and 2 Varnerin brothers, possibly in 1892. They went to Harper’s Ferry, West Virgina first to work building a railroad. At the end of the job, the contractor took them to Concord, New Hampshire where they eventually worked in the granite quarries. Luigi was not part of Miniutti Brothers & Co. He eventually had his own quarry in South Berwick, Maine ca. 1910-1911. He was supplying black granite to his brothers in Concord, but needed more help so Angelo began going to Maine to help him in 1912.
