“BRAINTREE - William H. Hewitt Sr., 90, of Braintree, formerly of Quincy and Dorchester, died Friday at John Scott Nursing Center in Braintree. He was born in Chicago and lived in Dorchester before moving to Quincy. He spent summers in Jackson, N.H. Mr. Hewitt, a lawyer, worked for Employees Mutual of Wausau for many years. He was the former president of St. Mark's Church Holy Name Society in Dorchester and a founding member of the Fontbonne Academy Father's Club. He was married for 56 years to the late Muriel (Bartholomay).
