Arrived at Ellis Island in 1903 at age 18, a shoemaker from Miglianico, Italy, northeast of Milano. Spelling of place name is clear on the manifest, but may not be the correct place - family story says he was from Sulmona, same place as Gabriele and Oriola.

“Emilia (not Amelia), was my great grandmother. She passed on 24 Feb 1993 in Brockton, MA.
Emilia was indeed married twice. her first marriage to Camillo Firmani gave her a daughter (Lena) and a son (Antonio). Family lore tells us Camillo got sick and returned home to Italy to get "good mountain air".  He died in Italy.” Louise Cote - February 2015
