July 5, 1880 marriage record says age 25, working as a compositor, born St. John, New Brunswick, parents are Hugh and Bridgett.

March 1887 birth record for first child says that he is a fireman, born in St. John, New Brunswick. Also says that mother was born in “Bose”?, New Hampshire.

1900 Census of Boston: renting at 180 West 8th Street, with wife, son Joseph, daughters Catherine, Elizabeth and Beatrice and son Charles. Of 10 children born, 5 are living. He came to US in 1862, is a naturalized citizen and was working as a railroad flagman. Says that his father was born in Canada (which disagrees with other info.) and his mother in Ireland.

1902 when son is born, they are living at 488 Dorchester Avenue. He is shown as a railroad flagman.

1910 Census - Family is living at 172 Gold Street, South Boston, with 6 of their 7 living children, 7 had also died, daughter Katherine, age about 20, is not listed in the household ( she was married in 1909). Father working for the railroad as a laborer. Says that mother is a teamster driving a milk wagon.

Living at 166 Gold Street, South Boston when he died in 1911.
" Michael Aloyousses, died of perforated ulcer, peritonitis and shock in Boston." 
Says he is age 51, rather than 55.
